ANNUAL EVENTS
Pancake Dinner: On Shrove Tuesday, Cove Church holds a pancake dinner for the church and families associated with the Covesville Child Development Center.
Easter: Cove remembers the crucifixion of our Lord by hosting a Thursday night Tennebrae Service. On Easter morning, Cove hosts a glorious Easter service at 11 a.m. preceded by an egg hunt for the little ones.
Christmas: One of the highlights of the Christmas season is the famous Cove Church Christmas pageant in which church members and life size puppets tell the story of the birth of Christ. Cove Church hosts a special service of lessons and carols on Christmas Eve.
ACTIVITIES
Fellowship Potluck Dinner: Fellowship potluck dinners are held after worship on the 4th Sunday of each month. Why not bring a dish and join us!
Adult Christian Education: For current book study please contact Gay Lee Einstein at 434-409-3324. Over the many months and years, our Adult Education class has studied a number of exciting, and controversial books including most recently, The Shack by Michael Young, Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracey Kidder and Our Endangered Values: America's Moral Crisis by President Jimmy Carter.
Choir Practice: Choir practice is held every Sunday morning beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the church sanctuary. Please contact Choir Director Beth Neville Evans (434-296-1263) for more information.
